SV Kids is our children’s ministry serving nursery through 4th grade. Our heart is to see our kids having fun, praying, and worshipping in the same way the grown-ups do! Our preschoolers (2s-K) focus on learning who God is and who God says they are. Our elementary students (1st-4th) focus on learning that having Jesus in their life changes everything and we work to equip them with the tools to share that truth with others around them. We have children’s ministry full of worship, teaching, games, and crafts at our 9 and 11am services.
NURSERY- 0 - 23 Months
It is our joy to care for your infants and walkers. Your baby will be played with, sung to, and prayed over by some of our most loving team members!
PRESCHOOL- 2 Years - Kindergarten
There is a place for all our preschool aged children at our services. Our classes are broken up by age; 2 year olds, 3 year olds, 4s/5s/Kindergarten. Each class is tailored to fit their unique age group. All classes participate in worship activities, craft, and a Bible lesson. Each month is based around a new theme and Bible verse they memorize.
ELEMENTARY- 1st - 4th Grade
We love getting the opportunity to disciple our Elementary students in the word of God and prayer. Each week they engage in worship, and games all themed around the lesson of the day. Our volunteer team stays consistent with your kids throughout the school year so they can truly know and lead your students in a meaningful way.
CLASSROOM BREAKDOWN
GLOW- 5th and 6th Grade
We realize the importance of ministering to students as they grow. We realized our 10-12 year olds were outgrowing the elementary school lessons, but hadn’t quite gotten to the teen ministry age. Out of that understanding, we created Glow, our ministry geared at serving 5th and 6th grade students ages 10-12.
We value the transitional stage those students are in and we disciple them in growing their faith and living it out with Jesus everyday. Our time together consists of worship, games, activities and teaching, all within a small group setting.
Our Glow ministry meets Sundays during our 11 am service.
